How to Use Quitting Smoking Hypnosis to Make Quitting Easy

by Stephen Smith

Everyone who tries to quit smoking is looking for a way to make it as easy as possible . Quitting smoking hypnosis is a method every smoker who’s looking to quit should consider. Here’s a little bit more information about.

They’re basically two ways you can use hypnosis. You can either learn self hypnosis or you can work with the therapist who will guide you through a hypnotic session and make appropriate suggestions. Sessions with a therapist can be either one-on-one or in groups of varying size.

Group sessions are popular because they are very affordable . They do work but the success rate is even higher with individual sessions. With private sessions a therapist can adjust the induction and a suggestions according to your response. In addition, the therapist will usually discuss your smoking habit with you prior to the actual hypnotic session so they can be sure to make suggestions that will be most helpful for you.

Any smoker can apply self hypnosis. There are several written guides available, but I think the easiest and most effective way to use self-hypnosis for quitting smoking is to use a recording, either on a CD or an MP3.

f you use a self hypnosis recording, you’ll be listening to a therapist guide you through an induction into a light trance. Then they will make suggestionsto support your decision to quit smoking. A big advantage of the self hypnosis technique is it’s convenience as well its affordability.

Self hypnosis recordings don’t have the advantage of being made specifically for you (although after you’ve listened to one several times and have an idea of what they’re like, you could make your own recording). They do have the advantage of being very affordable and available whenever you’d like them.

I believe that quitting smoking hypnosis can be a very helpful part of any quit smoking plan but I don’t think using hypnosis is the complete answer by itself. It works best in supporting a complete approach to stopping smoking.
